Sound familiar?

You are not the only one, and it is not something you have to put up with.

These changes are common after childbirth and around menopause. Many women wait years before seeking help. Here's what women commonly tell us they experience.

A little leak when you laugh

Small bladder leaks when you cough, sneeze, laugh or exercise. Often called mild stress incontinence.

Changes after childbirth

Things feeling different or less supported after delivery, sometimes months or years later.

Dryness and discomfort

Dryness, irritation or discomfort in daily life and intimacy, common around perimenopause and menopause.

Less firm than before

A loss of firmness and tone that can come with age, hormonal changes or after having children.

Your answers and details are not stored on this page. They are only used to start your message to our clinic team, so you do not have to explain it twice. Suitability for treatment is decided at consultation, after a medical assessment.

What the treatment involves

A non-surgical laser treatment, done in the clinic.

It uses gentle laser energy to warm the tissue, which encourages the body's own collagen to rebuild over the following weeks. There is no cutting and no anaesthetic is usually needed. You stay clothed apart from the treatment itself, in a private room, with a female doctor and a female assistant.

10 to 30 min

A typical session, including time to settle in. Most women plan it around a lunch break.

Little to no downtime

Most women go straight back to their day. Your doctor will give you simple aftercare notes.

A course, not a one-off

Sessions are usually spaced a few weeks apart. Your doctor will advise what is appropriate for you.

  • Non-surgical and non-invasive. No incisions, no stitches, no general anaesthetic.
  • Performed by our own female doctors, not a therapist or a technician.
  • A private consultation room and a confidential medical record.
  • Fusion Medical has cared for patients in Singapore since 2015.

A closer look

See the treatment room before you step into it.

Our doctor walks through what the session actually looks like, so nothing about the day is a surprise. It is a short explanation, and you can watch it privately before you decide anything.

  • What the handpiece is and how it is used
  • What you will feel during the session
  • What happens right after, and when you can go back to your day

Is it suitable for everyone? No.

We would rather tell you upfront. This treatment is generally not suitable if you:

  • are pregnant
  • have a history of wound healing disorders
  • have diabetes or an autoimmune condition
  • have vaginal growths or lesions, or a history of cancer in the area
  • are currently experiencing vaginal bleeding or an infection

This list is not exhaustive. Whether the treatment is appropriate for you is a decision your doctor makes with you at consultation, after a medical assessment. Individual results vary and no outcome is guaranteed.

Before you come in

The questions women ask us most.

Most of these come up in the first few minutes of a consultation. Here are the short answers.

Will it be uncomfortable?

Most women describe a mild warmth rather than pain, and no anaesthetic is usually needed. Tell your doctor at any point if you would like her to pause. You are in charge of the pace.

Do I have to explain everything at the front desk?

No. You can book under a general women's health appointment, and the details stay between you and your doctor in a private consultation room.

How soon might I notice a difference?

Collagen rebuilds gradually, so changes are usually gradual too, over the weeks after a session. It varies from person to person, and your doctor will set realistic expectations with you before you start.

I had my baby a while ago. Is it too late?

Not necessarily. Women come to us months and sometimes many years after childbirth. Your doctor will assess what is appropriate for you now.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on what you are dealing with and how your body responds. Your doctor will recommend a plan at consultation rather than before she has assessed you.

Where is the clinic?

Wheelock Place, 501 Orchard Road, level 4. It is a short walk from Orchard MRT, and the clinic entrance is not on the treatment floor of a beauty centre.
